THE RENOVATION

Built to last another 55 years

This 1969 Sovereign started as a solid shell with a great frame, no frame-off restoration needed, and was taken down to the studs. New insulation, new subfloor where it mattered, new plumbing lines throughout, and fully rewired mains with a new 12V breaker panel.

The interior is modern minimal maple plywood cabinetry with bold Formica fronts, white countertops, and vinyl flooring throughout. It lives like a well-designed tiny apartment. Cozy without feeling cramped.

A hidden desk nook behind the queen bed does triple duty as a work-from-anywhere office, a vanity area, or just somewhere to stash your gear out of sight. The front dinette converts to an oversized sleeping area when you need it.

What to know before you buy

This is a 55-year-old trailer that has lived a life! Here's everything worth knowing upfront so there are no surprises.

Gray water setup

All non-toilet fixtures drain through the black tank outlet, i.e. no gray tank. At a full-hookup site this is not an issue. For boondocking or partial hookups, you'll need a portable gray water tank.

Tires

Age unknown. Fine for local towing and has been pulled around town without issues. We recommend having the tires inspected before any long-distance trip and replacing if needed.

Title in hand

We have a clean title, but no current registration. You will need to register in your state. If you’re planning on parking the trailer, you can skip this process.

Dents + Dings

All visible exterior imperfections are shown honestly in the photo gallery. This is a vintage aluminum trailer, cosmetic wear is part of the character. The shell and frame are solid.

Battery

The 12V system is wired and ready for a battery, but not included. The trailer runs on 30-amp shore power.

Mattress not included

The queen platform is built and ready. You'll need to bring your own mattress. The dinette sleeping area will need custom cushions if you plan to use it regularly.

Common Questions

  • At ~5,000 lbs empty, you'll want a half-ton or larger truck (F-150, Ram 1500, Silverado 1500) or a large SUV with a tow rating above 6,500 lbs. A weight distribution hitch is recommended.

  • Yes, we can arrange delivery anywhere in the continental US at additional cost. Price depends on distance. Reach out and we'll get you a quote.

  • Absolutely. The trailer is located in Nashville, TN. We also offer virtual showings via video call, and a pre-recorded full walkthrough on this page.

  • The price reflects a genuine full renovation at fair market value. We're open to serious conversations with qualified buyers.

  • Yes, the 12V system is already installed and wired for a battery. Adding a lithium battery and solar panels is a straightforward upgrade.

  • All fixtures except the toilet drain through the black tank outlet. At full-hookup campsites this works perfectly. If this is parked on your property, you can plumb this into existing plumbing.

    For boon-docking you'll want a simple portable gray water tank.

  • Every trailer has leaked at some point. This trailer was fully inspected during renovation, leaks were found, sealed, and any resulting water damage was repaired. It's been stored outdoors since completion with no active leaks!

  • Wire transfer or verified cashier's check. No personal checks or foreign money orders. Bill of sale provided.
