Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most brand and story projects land somewhere between 1 and 2 months. A lot of it depends on how much pre-production work is needed, how quickly we can get on-site and how many people we need to coordinate for interviews. Once filming is done, editing usually takes 2-4 weeks and we build in two rounds of feedback from there.

  • Not always. For testimonial and story-driven work, the best stuff usually comes from real conversation, not a script. We'll do a pre-production call to align on the story we're trying to tell, and then we guide the interview in a way that pulls out the moments that matter. If you want scripted, we can do that too.

  • Most people we film have never done this before and that's totally fine. Part of the job is making people feel comfortable enough that they forget the camera is there. The best interviews almost always come from people who thought they'd be terrible at it.

  • Yes! We're based in Nashville, TN but often work nationally and internationally. Travel is billed separately and we'll always be upfront about what that looks like before you sign anything.

  • A brand video is about your organization as a whole (the mission, the culture and the why). A testimonial video puts a real person front and center to share their experience with your work. Both are powerful but they do different jobs. A lot of clients end up doing both at the same time since we're already on-site.

  • You do. Once the project is delivered and paid in full, you have full rights to use the video across your website, social channels, presentations, and campaigns. We retain the right to use it in our portfolio unless you request otherwise.
